Homemade French Fries Utk Cik Kaseh
Hari ni story pasal main masak2 la. I luv to cook tapi utk hubby & cik Kaseh la especially nye since i prefer to prepare her food by myself. Air tgn ibu berkat u..hehehe
Since my dotter ni suka benar la french fries, so mummy amik la initiative belajar buat sendiri. Yg beli kat mall & fast food restaurant sure2 la high preservative which is really NOT GOOD for kiddos. Mummy luvs Kaseh so....much, remember dat..heheh
Resepi ni tak le simple, tapi berbaloi cuba sbb at da end u'll get golden crispy outside but soft from inside French Fries. yummeh.. And definitely healthy sbb homemade kan ;))
Bahan2 nye tak susah pun nak dapat.
1. 3 ketul russet potato - buang kulit potong ikut suka, ala2 McD, wages pun buleh ;))
2. 3 tables spoon sugar - since masak utk cik Kaseh kita letak 1 teaspoon jer
3. 1 tables spoon corn syrup - tak letak langsung sbb tak elok byk sgt pemanis utk cik Kaseh
4. Warm water
5. Cooking oil tuk main goreng2 :))
Cara2 nye.
1. Rendam potato yg dah di potong dlm air biasa selama seminit utk buang excess starch. Sejat
2. Amik warm water, masuk kan sugar & corn syrup , kacau sebati. Rendam potato selama 5 minit then sejat.
3. Masuk kn potato dlm peti sejuk lebih kurang 15 - 30 mins.
Gini le rupanye potato yg keluar dr peti sejuk
4. Panaskan minyak dgn suhu yg rendah & masuk kan potato goreng sampai dalamnye masak(deep fry)
Dlm kes cik Kaseh saye guna skit jer minyak sbb deep fry not healthy for her.
Gini ler rupanye potato yg dah masak.
Separuh saye simpan dlm freezer utk later usage & separuh lagi sejuk kan kat luar jer utk 2nd time fry/grill.
Bile potato dah sejuk skit, goreng lagi sekali utk dptkan golden crispy French Fries.
Mcm renyah skit stepnye, jadi tiap kali masak French fries saye buat byk2 trus. Simpan dlm freezer, next time nak makan just keluarkan goreng atau grill pun buleh.
Biasanye dlm seminggu boleh tahan dlm freezer sbb 0 preservative. Most of the time tak sempat sampai seminggu dah licin cik Kaseh sapu..hehehe
